Haali was the preselected value for the DirectShow Video setting when i opened Options>Playback>Output after fresh installation of MPC-HC 1.7.11 The default renderer on Win7 is "Enhanced Video Renderer (Custom Presenter)". So i had to set DirectShow Video to "System Default" in order to get MPC-HC apply the Output settings and activate the internal audio renderer as well (see 1)ītw this should get fixed, if an average user tries to change the same setting he will never figure out that the problem is not the setting he changed (Audio Renderer) but rather the preselected DirectShow Video renderer which is set to something not available You see, the preselected value for DirectShow Video was Haali Video Rendererīut Haali Video Renderer is not available, so everytime i tried to change another setting (eg the Audio Renderer), MPC-HC would not allow it, giving the warning: "The selected renderer is not installed" I changed it because MPC-HC wouldn't let me change any Output settings otherwise (including the Audio Renderer setting - see 1) I changed it in order to take advantage of the new featuresĢ) Options > Playback > Output > DirectShow Video, to: "System Default" In the past i have changed two settings in MPC-HC:ġ) Options > Playback > Output > Audio Renderer, to: "8:Internal Audio Renderer" The File > Subtitles options are disabled/grey Hi, can anyone help, i can't load subtitles Thats why I requested the need to have the support to be able to use nvidia GPU (I do have Jriver 21 also which supports Nvidia GPU) Here since upscaling is REQUIRED, a better algorithm like jinc which chokes on Intel 4600 Integrated GPU is essential.
#MAKE JRIVER DEFAULT MEDIA PLAYER FOR WINDOWS 7 FULL#
So in order to utilise the full 17.3 inch screen of my laptop, i have to adjust cropping and aspect ratios to upscale it on the run to 1080p.
1920x1080 video has in actual 1920x816 video with rest blackboxed at the top and bottom. These are having 2.35 widescreen presentation i.e. My collection is of about 2000 Bluray Indian songs ripped personally from Blu-ray discs. When using MadVR with Intel 4600 anything above Lancoz settings in Upscaling, it chokes but the same runs smoothly in nvidia 750m in other players like MPC-BE where i can force it to use nvidia in nvidia settings panel. Yes I do mean (and have) optimus laptop(HP EnvyLeapmotion J102tx) with Nvida 750m and Intel 4600. Sorry to have offended you but to be honest the msg was directed at you only. Using the Intel GPU uses far less power and for video playback purposes its generally quite fine to run with it. I assume you are taking about Optimus laptops? That is done for a reason, power saving. Just because relatively unknown players don't have any profiles, that makes them have "native" support? Its more like the contrary, isn't it. Developers don't control the profiles in the NVIDIA driver, NVIDIA does that. What does "native NVIDIA GPU support" even mean? MPC-HC works on any GPU out there. I only develop LAV Filters, which is used by a whole bunch of different DirectShow video players, and is entirely independent of the player it runs in. I do, but I have never been a MPC-HC developer. Conspiracies, they are everywhere! None of the MPC-HC developers work for JRiver, just for the record.
